I first had an agua fresca a few years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed them, but when we moved into winter, I forgot about making them. Then my kids were home from college for the summer, and I had some watermelon that was slightly past its prime, so I made watermelon agua fresca as we enjoyed some pool time. They were hooked!
